v1.4.2 is live. Airbrake response is flatter above 600 km/h, and the Phantom-class grip bug on Shackleton Rim is fixed.
The flatter curve is a huge improvement on the Meridian helix — already shaved 0.4s.

Finally golded Nocturne Exchange reverse after 40 attempts. Short-shift into the summit hairpin and never touch the airbrake on the 18% drop — the track does the braking for you.
You are not airbraking on the drop? I have been scrubbing speed there for weeks. Trying this tonight.
Can we get a frame-time graph in the settings? On a 120 Hz laptop I get hitches on Shackleton Rim, right as the lava tube opens up.
A performance overlay is scheduled for 1.5.0. Capping to 60 Hz smooths the tube transition on most laptops in the meantime.
The soundtrack is doing a lot of work here. The track that drops on lap two of Sirocco is an instant playlist add. Any chance of a Bandcamp release?
Seconding this. All 18 tracks are worth a release.
Hot take: the Solstice Port raceway is the best opening circuit in an anti-gravity racer since Wipeout 3. Forgiving enough to learn on, and the last corner still punishes you.
That last corner has cost me more golds than every weapon in the game combined.
Controller players: map airbrake to the triggers, left to left and right to right. It is a different game — hold both to stabilise over the aqueduct leap.
Tried it, instantly 1.2s faster on Sirocco. Thank you.
Is anyone else's Phantom-class craft drifting right when the shield expires? Only in Solar Wind events, and only above 600 km/h.
Same here, and I thought my controller was drifting. Filed a report with a clip attached.
